Day 1 | Chiang Rai [Dinner]
After arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel, time is free for leisure. In the afternoon we enjoy a tricycle sightseeing tour to Wat Phra Sing, which is also known as the ‘Temple of the Lion Buddha.’ This shrine houses a number of highly revered images and it dates back to the 14th century when Chiang Mai was the capital of the Lanna Kingdom. In the evening your senses will be amazed by a Thai Set Welcome Dinner at the resort to give some more insights in Thai cuisine.

Day 2 | Chiang Rai [Breakfast, Dinner]
Our adventure includes a morning boat ride from the Golden Triangle area downstream to Chiang Saen. We continue by minibus to visit Chiang Saen Museum which houses a remarkable selection of ancient Buddha images and antiques. Our tour also includes visits to Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Pasak and Wat Phra That Chom Kitti. The latter is located on a hilltop and has a pagoda containing a Buddha relic. In the afternoon, you can enjoy leisure time at the resort including spa treatments and in the evening a candle-lit dinner.

Day 3 | Chiang Rai [Breakfast, Dinner]
We drive to the picturesque northern village of Baan Mae Ma and visit a Lanna style home-spun weavers shop. We then head in the direction of Doi Mae Salong along beautiful mountainous scenery and visit Baan Lao Sib to witness original Yai weaving. We then interact with indigenous people at the Lisu village of Baan He Ko. The evening involves a fun tuk-tuk tour of the authentic side of Chiang Rai. We will pass the King Mengrai Monument, commemorating the monarch who founded Chiang Rai in 1262 and also the Golden Clock Tower, built in 2008 to honour His Majesty King Bhumibhol Adulyadej. Our final call is the lively night market which has abundant food options and live entertainment.

Day 4 | Chiang Rai [Breakfast]
The day is at leisure, followed by transfer from the resort to Chiang Rai Airport.

Exclusions
 Voluntary Carbon Offset Compensation: USD1.50 per person per day;
 Personal expenses such as other meals, drinks, tips and gratuities, shopping, portage fees and optional tours/ visits, unless otherwise stated;
 Hotel accommodation in the destination of commencement;
 Any domestic / international airline tickets, airport taxes, visa fees, specific camera / video fees, additional transportation cost from and to the general pick-up / drop-off regions (such as airports, out-of-town resorts, ports, harbours and accommodation in surrounding towns);
 Any accommodation expenses of a personal nature. This includes (compulsory festive) meals and drinks, mini-bar consumption, laundry, room service, any telephone or other communication cost not mentioned in the program;
 International travel and medical insurance coverage for customers.

Good to know
 The extension night rates are net per person per night inclusive of daily breakfast only;
 In case of the stay includes 2 different package periods, only the higher rates will be applied for the honeymoon package. (The extension rate will be calculated according to the extension rate of the respective period);
 We reserve the right to make necessary changes to the tour in case of unfavourable weather conditions or situations where we are forced to make alterations to guarantee the safety of our guests;
 Natural elements of any kind have a destructive effect on electronic equipment. It the customer’s own responsibility to ensure that any camera, mobile telephone or other device is properly wrapped and protected against these elements. We cannot be held responsible in any way for negligence and/or not following suggestions for any damage related to this;
 The protection of the country’s flora, fauna and its historical and cultural treasures is of immense importance for us. We will not pursue any activities that are not in line with our animal, wildlife and environment protection principles;
 Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us. Even when it is cloudy, the sun still has an immense power;
